I am Umberto Cattani owner of CTTours, born in Carrara in 1965, for 20 years I have been working in tourism as tourist guide, commercial driver and tourist consultant.

Since I decided to make tourism my full time job I took the qualification of tourist guide for the provinces of Massa-Carrara, La Spezia and Florence and I started working with groups of tourists. Afterwards, about 10 years ago, I bought a minivan for providing even transportation services for individuals and small groups. Since then my wife Monica joined me for helping with the bookkeeping.

This is my philosophy of work:

Passion. I love to transmit to my guests not only cold information but involve them in the discovery of the territory telling about the highlights and also about the social life of Florence in its golden years.

Commitment to doing things right, and carefully. Every client, every excursion is important and different from the others. That’s why I pay attention to the clients’ interests and do my best to encounter his/her tastes.

CTTours does not organize shared itineraries, but only private tours. This means that the tourist guide or transportation service you have booked, is only for you.

Flexibility. I organize the day schedule according to your needs: meeting place, time meeting, end of the service, lunchtime, etc. etc.

What are your interests? Would you like to organize a particular itinerary that is not in our list? No problem, I will help you to create a program that suits your interests.

Reliability. I am fully licensed and legally authorized either as tourist guide and as commercial driver with insurance coverage required by law.
